Peter Rossi, VEC Chief Operating Officer - Peter has been the Chief Operating Officer and Incident Commander for Vermont Electric Cooperative for almost eight years. He previously held several positions at Powder River Energy Corporation in Wyoming for 10 years and before that spent eight years as a Certified Information Technology Consultant for IBM Global Services.
Shawn Juaire, VEC Operations Supervisor - Shawn began his career with Citizens Utilities in Grand Isle in 1991, working up the ranks on the line crew. When Citizens Utilities was purchased by Vermont Electric Co-op in 2004, Shawn remained, becoming the Grand Isle District’s Group Leader in 2007 and then advancing to become the District’s Operations Supervisor in January of 2022. Shawn administers VEC’s maintenance plan/asset inspection program. As part of a team, he is responsible for integrating drones into VEC’s system maintenance and inspection work, as well as storm response. The session will be moderated by VEC Chief Executive Officer Rebecca Towne.
