Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets Farmers looking to enhance their agritourism operations won’t want to miss an upcoming series of workshops hosted by the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets (VAAFM) and local marketing agency, Place Creative Company. These workshops will help farmers market their farm experiences and integrate their operations into Vermont's brand-new agritourism marketing campaign.
Funded by a Federal State Marketing Improvement Program grant from the USDA, these workshops aim to support Vermont’s push to showcase our authentic food and farm experiences to visitors from near and far. The workshops will cover a range of important topics, including optimizing your Google business page, utilizing social media effectively, working with local media, and more. Additionally, farmers will receive a toolkit of resources to help them join the statewide marketing campaign and align their branding with Vermont’s growing agritourism movement.
Each workshop will cover the same content, offering three convenient opportunities for farmers to attend:
- Thursday, January 30th 10:00 - 11:30 AM (Virtual)
- Monday, February 10th 10:00 - 11:30 AM (In-Person, Berlin, VT)
- Tuesday, February 25th 10:00 - 11:30 AM (Virtual)
This is a fantastic chance for farmers, whether new to agritourism or looking to refine their marketing efforts, to learn practical strategies, connect with fellow producers, and become part of the statewide campaign.
