Vermont Business Magazine The Associated General Contractors of Vermont (AGC/VT), Vermont’s preeminent trade organization representing the construction industry, recognized 13 exceptional projects and companies during its Annual Meeting on December 3, 2025, in Burlington.
The event marked the largest annual gathering of construction professionals from across Vermont, with approximately 300 in attendance. There, AGC/VT presented its prestigious Best Builders Awards honoring outstanding craftsmanship, innovation and commitment to quality in Vermont’s construction industry.
Award-winning projects ranged from rebuilt, disaster-stricken infrastructure, to major housing projects, to innovative highway and bridge construction and more. They were also geographically diverse, located as far north as Craftsbury and south as Windsor, and as far east as Barnet and west as Vergennes. Judges selected awardees based on construction practices, technical excellence and community impact.
“Every year we evaluate submissions to our Best Builder Awards, I’m more impressed by our members’ incredible work,” said Richard Wobby, Executive Vice President of AGC/VT. “Each winner represents the skill and integrity that define our industry and strengthen our state’s infrastructure, economy and way of life.”
“The Best Builders Awards are more than plaques. They’re a celebration of the people and companies shaping Vermont’s future,” said John Casella, Jr., outgoing president of AGC/VT. “From bridges and highways to sustainable housing and community spaces, these projects reflect the values of quality, safety and innovation for which our industry stands.”
