Vermont Business Magazine Kinney Drugs has announced a new Brattleboro drugstore at 499 Canal Street (map) is officially open and ready to serve the community. This includes the administration of the flu vaccine, which is now available for the 2025-2026 flu season.
This location is formerly a Rite Aid, and several pharmacists and staff have chosen to join the Kinney Drugs family.
We are pleased to announce that Supervising Pharmacist Titilope Adeosun, PharmD, R.Ph. and Store Manager Cathie Breau will run the Brattleboro store operations. The Brattleboro location is open every day. Retail hours are 8AM to 8PM Monday through Saturday, and from 9AM to 6PM on Sunday. Pharmacy hours are 8AM to 8PM Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM on Saturday, and 9AM-4PM on Sunday, with a lunch closure from 1PM-1:30PM daily.
Flu Vaccine & Appointments: All Kinney locations have received a supply of vaccines for ages 3-64 as well as senior-dose vaccine for those age 65+. Appointments can be scheduled at https://kinneydrugs.com/locations/appointments/. Patients may also walk in at a time that is convenient for them. For the 2025-2026 season, all flu vaccines are trivalent formulations that protect against three flu viruses: the A(H1N1) virus, the A(H3N2) virus, and the B/Victoria lineage virus. (The composition of vaccines is reviewed and adjusted annually to match widely circulating strains.)
