Vermont Business Magazine Jay Peak Resort has opened reservations for its seasonal lodging packages, offered during the height of northern Vermont’s fall foliage window. The packages, valid for stays between August 8 and October 12, 2025, provide discounted lodging rates along with complimentary access to Vermont's only Aerial Tram—offering panoramic views of the Northeast Kingdom during one of its most visually striking times of year.
Fall in the upper elevations of Orleans County is brief but vivid. Dense hardwood forests across the region turn sharply in late August and reach their peak in mid to late September, drawing in visitors seeking quiet, elevation, and color.
The Tram, which ascends to the summit of Jay Peak at nearly 4,000 feet, allows guests a broad vantage point over surrounding ridgelines and valleys. On a clear day, the view stretches for miles, reaching deep into Canada. The Long Trail, Vermont’s iconic through-hike, crosses directly over the summit, making the ride up not just scenic, but storied. The Sky Haus Café at the top will be open for snacks and refreshments. Day visitors are welcome, with tickets starting at $25 for adults, $20 for juniors and seniors, and a $75 family 4-pack available.
Packages are available in three categories—Lodging Only, Golf Vacation, and Indoor Waterpark Vacation—with rates starting at $119/night for two guests. All package types include lodging in either the Hotel Jay or Tram Haus Lodge, standard resort inclusions, and a one-time Tram ride for each guest. The resort’s indoor waterpark and golf course will remain open through fall, weather permitting.
To qualify for the discounted rates, reservations must be made by August 19, 2025. All packages are subject to availability.
The resort’s Aerial Tram will undergo a brief maintenance closure in September. Specific dates are pending and can be confirmed with Jay Peak’s lodging team at time of booking.
Canadian guests with valid proof of residency may continue to pay for half their lodging stay at par under the resort’s standing par rate policy.
