Vermont Business Magazine Generator, Burlington’s community-driven hub for creativity and hands-on learning, is thrilled to announce its 10th anniversary celebration! To mark this milestone, we’re inviting the entire community to a free anniversary party on Thursday, October 24, from 6-9 PM at our space on 40 Sears Ln.
Since its inception in 2014, Generator Makerspace has provided a welcoming and inclusive space for people of all ages and backgrounds to explore their creativity, learn new skills, collaborate on projects, and launch businesses.
Here at Generator we offer workshops, access to cutting-edge equipment (3D printers, laser cutters, woodshop tools, metalworking tools, and more), and a welcoming space for makers of all skill levels. Now it’s time to celebrate and thank everyone who made the last 10 years possible, and welcome all of the people who will make the next 10 even better!

"Over the past 10 years, we have seen countless people come through our doors and transform their ideas into reality. It's been an incredible journey, and we are grateful for the support of our members, volunteers, and partners."
Event Highlights:
- Food & Drink: Enjoy delicious food from El Gato, refreshments from Zero Gravity, and custom coconut cocktails from the CoCo Bar as you socialize with friends old and new.
- Oversized Family Games: Have a blast with giant versions of your favorite games, including Connect 4, Operation, and Jenga.
- Free Workshops & Activities: Learn a new skill at our hands-on workshops, including a pendant-making clinic led by Elyzabeth Cromer from Artemis Hunter Designs, and screen printing with our partners at Champlain College. Krista Jones from Whimsically You will also be joining us with their awesome photo booth!
- Live Demos & Displays: See demonstrations of the tools and technology that make our makerspace unique, and learn about how you can get involved!
