Okemo Mountain Resort – Opening this Sunday, December 1
Okemo Mountain Resort will open on Dec. 1, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., with top-to-bottom skiing and riding available, served by the A Quad, Sunburst Six, and F-10 Carpet lifts. Okemo has ramped up its snowmaking with five new HKD fan snowguns and 17 low-energy snowguns, improving coverage across the mountain. On opening day, guests will enjoy a First Chair banner break, giveaways, and a DJ spinning tunes. Snowmaking will continue with plans to expand to Jackson Gore, aiming to be 100% open as soon as we can. Please be mindful that limited terrain and early season conditions exist.

Stowe Mountain Resort – Opening Tuesday, December 3
Stowe will open for the 2024/25 winter season on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 9:00 a.m. In celebration of Opening Day, guests who arrive early will be greeted at the FourRunner Quad in the Mount Mansfield base area with a DJ spinning tunes and a limited number of breakfast sandwiches available. The FourRunner Quad will operate starting at 8:00 a.m. from Wednesday, Dec. 4 through the remainder of the season. Please be reminded that limited terrain and early season conditions exist. The Mansfield Lodge and Octagon Café will be open, offering a variety of delicious food and beverage options.
Looking Ahead:
- A fantastic mix of new and returning special events including Cider Time, brought to you by Cold Hollow Cider Mill. Cider Time features a rotating menu of complimentary scratch-made baked goods and warm cider on select Saturdays available in the Mansfield base area.
- Pond Skim returns (yes, you read that correctly) as part of our 1st annual Spring Bash on April 11 & 12. Spring Bash features two days of free live music in the Mansfield base area from some of Vermont’s top talent.

Mount Snow – Opening Tuesday, December 3
Mount Snow, celebrating its 70th anniversary, will open on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. Guests can enjoy 50 acres of freshly groomed terrain served by the Bluebird Express, Challenger, and Discovery lifts, with snowmaking continuing throughout the season. Early birds will be treated to a traditional first chair banner break, free breakfast sandwiches, and giveaways.
