Rutland Regional Medical Center moves Blood Draw Station to new location at 4 Commons Street, Rutland

VermontBiz The Rutland Regional Medical Center (RRMC) Lab and Blood Draw Station, currently located at 65 Allen Street, will be closed for business on Friday, May 31, to allow for the blood draw station to move a few blocks away to its new location at 4 Commons Street.

The lab and blood draw services will reopen at the new location at 4 Commons Street on Monday, June 3 with the same hours of operation, Monday through Friday, 5:30am-10:30am and 11am-2pm.

“We are always looking for more efficient and effective ways to provide services to our community,” said Saisha Branchaud, Pharm. D, BCPS, Senior Director Lab and Pharmacy Services at RRMC. “The new location has numerous provider offices in the immediate vicinity allowing for improved patient accessibility as well as a more direct entrance with plenty of parking close by.”

The new lab location is next to the office of Mark C. Stickney, MD, and near the Rutland Heart Center, Rutland General Surgery, Marble Valley Urology, Rutland Women’s Healthcare, and Rutland Behavioral Health, which are all located in the Commons Street complex along with the offices of Drs. Peter and Lisa Hogenkamp, and Marble Valley Healthworks. The same registration and phlebotomy team will provide the same services at the new location, including Vermont Orthopaedic Clinic pre-operative education and lab work appointments.

In addition to the 4 Commons Street location, Rutland Regional also operates a blood draw station inside the hospital at 160 Allen Street (Mon-Fri 7am-6pm, Sat 8am-12noon) as well as in the Community Health Centers in Castleton (Mon-Fri 8am-12noon and 12:30pm-4pm) and in Rutland (Mon-Fri 7:30am-12noon and 12:30pm-3:30pm).
