Vermont Business Magazine On a bright sunny day in early July, Oliver Subaru of Rutland, in partnership with the New York/Vermont Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), delivered eighty (80) blankets to the Foley Cancer Center at Rutland Regional Medical Center. The donation of blankets provides warmth and comfort to patients receiving cancer care and treatment at RRMC. The donation of blankets is part of the Subaru Loves to Care program.

“We continue to be grateful to Oliver Subaru and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for their warm and meaningful show of support,” said Dr. Allan Eisemann, Medical Director of the Foley Cancer Center. “Our providers, nurses, and staff are honored to receive these blankets on behalf of the grateful patients receiving care at the Foley Cancer Center."

As part of the LLS Subaru Loves to Care program, LLS and Subaru retailers nationwide deliver blankets to those fighting cancer in hospitals and treatment centers across the country.

The blankets were delivered by Jose Oliver, Owner, and Curtis VanEpps, Managing Partner of Oliver Subaru of Rutland. Foley Cancer Center team members, including Dr. Allan Eisemann, Lindsey Munger, Director of Oncology, and Traci Moore, Senior Director of Development and Community Relations, were on hand to receive the donation of blankets.

“We will continue to do whatever we can to support the Foley Cancer Center,” said VanEpps. “We are grateful for the compassionate care the hospital and the cancer center provide to patients in our community. These blankets are a simple but meaningful way we can provide some comfort.”
