Bob Goldwater, a spokesperson Birth Injury Lawyers Group commented:
“Despite many women in the US choosing to give birth in a hospital, rates of home births in the US have actually increased by 56% between 2016 and 2022.
"This study reveals which states are the most interested in giving birth at home by analyzing the number of searches for terms relating to home births. The results reveal that Alaksa has the most interest in home births. This is also reflected in the state's rate of home births, which in 2022 stood at 2.7% according to Statista, the ninth highest rate in the country."
