Vermont Lottery: Mega Millions jackpot grows to $670 million

VermontBiz Magazine With no lucky winner on Tuesday, December 10, the Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery is reporting that the Mega Millions lottery game is reaching a record high with an estimated jackpot climbing to $670 million tomorrow, December 13. Regarded as superstitiously unlucky, this day may prove to be lucky for one Mega Millions player.   

This Friday’s drawing also includes other prize tiers:

Mega Millions tickets can be purchased for $2 each at your favorite Vermont Lottery agent location. A Megaplier option can be added for $1 to multiply non-jackpot wins. 

Drawings are held at 11 pm Eastern Time on Tuesdays and Fridays. Winners can claim their prize in a variety of different ways depending on prize amount: $500 at a lottery agent or M&T banks; $500 to $5,000 at either the Vermont Lottery administrative office in Berlin, Vermont or M&T banks; and $5,000 or more at the Vermont Lottery Berlin, Vermont office. The ticket must be signed by the winner and submitted with a completed claim form and valid identification.
