Vermont Business Magazine The Shires' Holiday Inn Tours kicked off with a record-breaking start this past Saturday, December 7, delighting guests and supporting local charities in our community. With 162 attendees—up from 113 last year—this beloved tradition has raised an impressive $2,500 so far. The organizers of the event, The Shires Destination Marketing Organization and the Manchester Business Association, will continue the tradition of passing along all proceeds to the Manchester Community Food Cupboard, the Arlington Food Shelf, and Bennington County Meals on Wheels.
As we look forward to the second weekend of tours on Saturday, December 14, the organizers encourage guests to secure their tickets soon. There’s still time to join the festivities.
For over three decades, the Holiday Inn Tours have offered an enchanting glimpse into the holiday season across some of the finest inns, hotels, and bed-and-breakfasts in Southwestern Vermont. The self-guided tours run from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., inviting visitors from around the Northeast to enjoy festive decorations, delightful treats, and a taste of local hospitality.
