Chittenden County Forester to hold two forestry events this Saturday

Vermont Business Magazine Chittenden County Forester Ethan Tapper is holding two events this Saturday (4/27). First, he's partnering with the Charlotte Conservation Commission to give a talk about forests, forestry and forest ecology with a special focus on habitat connectivity, conservation and responsible development as part of their Earth Month Celebration.

His talk will be at the Charlotte Library (115 Ferry Road, Charlotte, VT) from 10:30 - 11:30 on Saturday, April 27. To join, just show up. No pre-registration is required. There will also be fun events, speakers and more from 10:00 AM through 1:00 PM.

Then, have dinner and a movie, hosted by the Jericho Conservation Commission. Come have a slice of pizza and watch "Seeing the Forest for the Trees," a 30-minute documentary about the importance of Vermont's working landscape and forest products industry, which Tapper is featured in.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion and Q &A with myself and others.  This event will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 27 at the Jericho Community Center, 329 Browns Trace, Jericho, VT.

This week, Tapper was featured on the Field Stories Podcast! See it on YouTube or Spotify
