Vermont Business Magazine The Friends of the Fletcher Free Library was awarded a FY2024 Cultural Facilities Grant to support fixed audio-visual equipment to improve arts experiences at the library. The newly installed screen and sound bar, as well as a stage and sound-proofing panels, will improve the free programs and discussions offered in the Pickering Room at the Fletcher Free Library.
“We were pleased to have this modernization of library equipment supported in part by the Vermont Arts Council and the State of Vermont," said Library Director Mary Danko. “It is our goal to have our facilities equal the quality of the free programs, services, and resources we offer the community. We invite the public to enjoy the new audio-visual update through our film series, art receptions, book festival talks, and more in the Pickering Room.”
The Fletcher Free Library also offers free meeting space, allowing organizations access to this technology as well. For more information on the Fletcher Free Library or the Friends of Fletcher Free Library, please visit fletcherfree.org.
