Burlington Electric Department Tomorrow/Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 10am to 2pm, Burlington Electric Department will host its second annual Net Zero Energy Festival – A Supercharged Day of Family Fun! To further the City’s progress along the path to Net Zero Energy, BED will have activities for people of all ages focused on reducing fossil fuel use and electrifying everything.
Join us for: food trucks, including Pizza44 and Ben & Jerry’s; live music with both Antara and The Art of DonnCherie; raffles, including an electric bicycle donated by VSECU and North Star Sports and an electric lawn trimmer donated by Bibens ACE Hardware; E-bike test rides; EV test-drives; bike parking; partners that provide heat pump, solar, and electric lawn care products; carshare and biking partners; BED energy experts; a special visit by our favorite, friendly, furry mascot CHAMP; and more.
