SUMMARY OF CRASH/INCIDENT:

On the above date and time, the Vermont State Police responded to a crash with property damage on Twitchell Hill Road in the Town of Shaftsbury. Investigation revealed a motor vehicle had failed to maintain lanes for travel, where the vehicle collided with two mailboxes, continued through people’s front yards, and left the scene. The operator of the motor vehicle failed to stop and report the incident to the State Police.

Troopers found probable cause to charge Kiona Kinney (28) from Shaftsbury, VT, with the offense of Leaving the Scene of an Accident (Duty to stop).

Kinney was also issued two Vermont Civil Violation Complaints for operating without liability insurance and plates not assigned, totaling $324.00 in fines and two points. Kinney was released on a criminal citation to answer the offense at a later date and time.
