Vermont Business Magazine Family-owned company Lake Champlain Chocolates (LCC), known for their award-winning chocolate confections and commitment to Fair Trade ingredients, is thrilled to announce it is opening a retail shop on Main Street in Stowe Village, in the former Laughing Moon Chocolates’ location.
“Laughing Moon has been making people happy with handcrafted chocolates for the last 21 years,” says LCC President Eric Lampman. “We will continue this tradition of creating joyful moments in Stowe, Vermont with our own Vermont-made chocolate confections.”
The store, located in the heart of the Ski Capital of the East, is currently closed for renovations and will re-open in the Fall as Lake Champlain Chocolates. Employment was offered to all of the Laughing Moon team members, and LCC is proud and excited that many have decided to stay and join the company.
Come September, customers can look forward to LCC’s full selection of European-inspired, handcrafted chocolate confections and an expanded hot chocolate and ice cream cafe, including award-winning homemade ice cream, milkshakes, sundaes and more!
This new location will be LCC’s fourth company-owned retail store in Vermont, joining the Flagship Store & Cafe on Pine Street in Burlington, Church Street in Burlington, and Route 100 in Waterbury Center.
