Vermont Business Magazine Oliver Subaru of Rutland and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) spreads warmth to patients at Rutland Regional Medical Center's Foley Cancer Center as they continue their fight against cancer. As part of the national Subaru Loves to Care initiative, Oliver Subaru of Rutland has teamed up with the upstate New York/Vermont Chapter of LLS to donate more than 80 blankets to the Foley Cancer Center.
Dr. Allan Eisemann, Medical Director of the Foley Cancer Center said, “We are grateful to Oliver Subaru and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for their generosity and support. Our providers, nurses, and staff are honored to receive this wonderful donation of blankets for patients receiving treatment at the Foley Cancer Center."
As part of the LLS Subaru Loves to Care program, LLS and Subaru retailers nationwide will deliver blankets to those fighting cancer in hospitals and treatment centers across the country.
“Our patients benefit greatly from the generosity, comfort and care provided by the program," said Lindsey Munger, Director of Oncology at the Foley Cancer Center. "We are thankful for Oliver Subaru’s partnership with LLS, and their thoughtfulness in making this donation possible in our local region.”
The blankets were delivered by Claudia Oliver, Vice President and Dave Brown, General Manager, both of Oliver Subaru of Rutland. Dr. Allan Eisemann, Lindsey Munger, and Traci Moore, Senior Director of Development and Community Relations, were on hand to receive the donation of blankets as were many members of the Foley Cancer Center team.
