Vermont Business Magazine SERVPRO of Bennington and Rutland Counties delivered a $9,000 donation to the Dartmouth Health Cancer Center at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) last month — the culmination of a three-year, $25,000 commitment.
Owners Johnny Flood and Ariana Flood presented the donation to SVMC’s President and CEO Tom Dee in November. The donation, raised during SERVPRO’s annual Charity Golf Tournament, is part of a three-year commitment of $25,000 to Vision 2020, A Decade of Transformation capital campaign.
The project includes a new regional cancer center, which will double the number of exam and infusion rooms. The design focuses on patient comfort in addition to clinical excellence.
“The Cancer Center is a cause close to our hearts,” said Johnny Flood. “The life-saving work being done there is invaluable to our community’s health and we’re happy to be supporting its expansion.”
President & CEO Tom Dee thanked the couple for their support.
“Johnny, Ariana and their team understand the importance of giving back to the community,” said Dee. “We’re grateful for their support of this project, which will make a positive impact in the lives of so many in our region.”
