"The Ten Best Days of Summer” runs Friday, August 25 through Sunday, September 3rd.

Vermont Business Magazine The ten best days of summer are just around the corner! It’s the Champlain Valley Fair and we’re excited to open our gates for the 101st time. The Champlain Valley Fair is Vermont’s largest annual event and attracts 120,000 fairgoers yearly! Visitors to the fair have numerous opportunities to learn about Vermont’s agricultural economy, enjoy amazing foods from over 60 food vendors, find their thrill on the Midway with more than 40 rides available, and plenty of free entertainment.

“We’re thrilled to open the Champlain Valley Fair and celebrate our agricultural and community-born roots. This year’s Fair features new food options including Walking Waffles, deep-fried maple cookies, and Cajun fries. For free entertainment, we welcome Kenny Byrd & Friends (a ventriloquist) John Cassidy (a balloon making comedian), the Flying Cortez, Cobble Hill Farm Dogs, and a Live Shark Encounter!” stated Jeff Bartley, Marketing Director at the Champlain Valley Exposition.

Bartley continued “The team at NorthCountry Federal Credit Union is passionate about the Champlain Valley Fair, what we provide our attendees, and the economic impact the Champlain Valley Exposition has in the community. We’re pleased to be working with an influential local business on delivering high quality entertainment, tasty and sinful Fair foods, and agricultural education,” said Jeff Bartley, Marketing Director of the Champlain Valley Fair.

“NorthCountry Federal Credit Union’s mission and core values align well with our organization. They have a deep-rooted commitment to the community and remain engaged with many non-profits. We’ve had a long standing relationship with the team at NorthCountry and are thrilled to propel our partnership.”

NorthCountry Federal Credit Union has long been a supporter of the Champlain Valley Fair and sponsored the Grandstand in recent years.

“As a community credit union, we embrace opportunities to support local events that bring people together to learn, have fun, and make memories. The Champlain Valley Fair checks every box,” said Julie Longfellow, VP of Branding and Creative. “We are excited to take on the role of presenting sponsor, and leverage it to benefit the community in a multitude of ways.”

Bartley concluded, “We also encourage our fairgoers to download the Champlain Valley Fair app featuring our daily schedule, food vendors, a map of the grounds, ability to purchase Grandstand tickets, and other interactive features. The app is free to download and is available in both the Google Play and Apple Stores.”

The Champlain Valley Fair will open at 3 p.m. on Friday, August 25. An opening ceremony will take place at “Red Gate” at 2:45 PM. The Governor, local legislators, the CVE Board, and other community members have been invited to attend.

The Champlain Valley Fair is presented by NorthCountry Federal Credit Union and would not be possible without the support from dozens of sponsors who contribute monetarily, with marketing support, hotel rooms, or equipment.
