Antiques Roadshow episodes filmed in Vermont to broadcast April 24, May 1, May 8 on Vermont Public

Vermont Business Magazine The latest season of America’s favorite treasure hunt, Antiques Roadshow, concludes with three brand new hours of exciting local finds filmed in Vermont last summer at Shelburne Museum.

Antiques Roadshow came to Shelburne Museum on July 12, 2022, with more than 3,000 visitors arriving to have their family heirlooms and flea market finds appraised in a day-long event. The day of filming resulted in three episodes in the Green Mountain State, which will premiere nationally on PBS stations on Monday, April 24, May 1, and May 8, at 8 p.m., including Vermont Public:

April 24: Roadshow experts assess a fresh and fascinating array of glorious riches from all over the state including a 1999 Pokemon Card collection, a 1930s mixed-media portrait of the model known as Morning Star from artist Winold Reiss, a beautiful Raymond Yard platinum and diamond ring ca. 1940, and a surprise discovery worth up to $100,000!

May 1: The hunt for Green Mountain gold continues with insightful appraisals on a Rolex gold and diamond bracelet watch, a vintage American Girl Barbie and wardrobe dating to the mid-1960s and even a rare surviving sample of early 18th century schoolgirl needlework.

May 8: Discover vibrant valuables including a 1956-1958 Celtics team-signed photo and basketball, a Buffalo Bill poster ca. 1893 and an Edwardian sapphire and diamond ring. One of these Vermont treasures is worth up to $150,000!

Each episode will be followed by a locally produced behind-the-scenes program at 9 p.m.

Viewers can tune in live via Vermont Public’s main TV channel, available on broadcast, cable, satellite and smart TV. The programs will also stream live at vermontpublic.org and on the Vermont Public mobile app, and they’ll be available for on-demand viewing one day after each broadcast.

In addition, Vermont Public is hosting sneak preview watch parties around the state.
