Scott cabinet officials to visit Caledonia County on ‘ARPA Tour’ Monday

Vermont Business Magazine Scott Administration officials will be visiting Caledonia County on Monday to continue their county tour to hear from community leaders about their unique infrastructure needs and to discuss the many funding opportunities available to them via federal funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021. Officials will offer guidance on how communities can apply for assistance with tangible economic development, housing, water and sewer, climate change mitigation measures, and broadband projects.

Please join the Agency of Commerce and Community Development and the Green Mountain Economic Development Corporation and other community partners for an introduction and discussion about state and ARPA infrastructure resources that are available in the Caledonia County region. The Administration will be hosting a listening session/round table discussion in the Caledonia County region about available federal funding resources and any outstanding regional and municipal project needs. Attendees will hear from, and have access to, the Agency of Commerce and Community Development, Buildings and General Services, Agency of Transportation, Agency of Natural Resources, Department of Libraries, Agency of Agriculture, the Vermont Community Broadband Board, Vermont Emergency Management, the State Workforce Development Board and other State Agencies and Departments.
