Marilyn Miller to retire from VADA

Vermont business Magazine After serving for more than 40 years as the Executive Director of the Vermont Vehicle and Automotive Distributors Association (VADA), Marilyn Miller has announced that she will retire at the end of the year.

”Marilyn Miller's dedication to Vermont’s vehicle distributors is unparalleled.” said Jack Castellaneta, VADA President. “In an industry that keeps Vermont moving, she has been a steady presence supporting VADA member companies and their employees. While Marilyn will be greatly missed, her retirement is well deserved.”

“The opportunity to work for and with the members of VADA has been the second greatest blessing of my life, the first being my family. In many ways and after so many years, the members are like family. Dealers play an important role in their communities and the economy of Vermont, and it’s been my honor to work for them, “ said Miller.

The VADA Board of Directors hired Meadow Hill Consulting to take on many of the roles and responsibilities of Miller. Meadow Hill will provide VADA with association management services and lead their government affairs initiatives.

“Marilyn has dedicated much of her life to helping VADA and its member companies in a challenging business and regulatory environment,” said Matt Cota, the founder of Meadow Hill. “The VADA Board of Directors and Marilyn have worked to ensure a smooth transition for this important organization.”
