Vermont Business Magazine Nothing is more powerful than love, especially when it’s given away. On Wednesday, May 4, Rutland Subaru donated more than $ 6,600 from the 2021 Subaru Share the Love® event to support palliative care services at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

“We continue to be grateful to Rutland Subaru for selecting Rutland Regional Medical Center as the beneficiary of its local Share the Love event,” said Traci Moore, Senior Director of Development and Community Relations. We appreciate the generosity and awareness this initiative helps to generate in support of the high-quality programs and services Rutland Regional provides in our community.”

As part of the Share the Love event, Subaru donated $250 for every new Subaru sold between November 15 and January 2.

Since being selected in 2017, Rutland Regional has received more than $71,000 from the annual Subaru Share the Love event. During the past four years, these donations have supported new 3D breast imaging and nuclear medicine diagnostic equipment, upgrades to the hospital’s psychiatric services inpatient unit, and most recently palliative care services and upgrades to the hospital’s comfort suites for chronically or terminally ill patients who require hospital care.

Rutland Regional President and CEO, Claudio Fort said “We truly appreciate the continued support of the Subaru Share the Love campaign, and Rutland Subaru. Community support through important initiatives like this continues to make a difference for our patients.”
