Enter the 2023 Good Food Awards!

Vermont Agency of Agriculture Food & Markets Makers of good food & drink, it's your time to shine: entries for the 2023 Good Food Awards are now open! From farmstead cheeses to world-class kimchi, the Good Food Awards recognize craftsmanship and flavor alongside environmental and social responsibility. Over 2,000 entries from all 50 states are submitted each year and a blind tasting decides nearly 200 winners.

Benefits for winners include exclusive use of the Good Food Awards Winner seal on winning product packaging and the opportunity to sell products to the Good Food community during the online Pop Up Shop. Many winners have reported increased sales and publicity tied to the Awards, in addition to receiving access to a community of like-minded crafters to connect with. In 2022 the state of Vermont had 22 winners across all categories!

The 10-minute entry form, due by June 30th, is available here. The $82 entry fee covers the cost of processing, storing, sorting and transporting products to the annual blind tasting, where category experts and professionals from the food community will identify this year’s top scorers. Optional feedback from judges is also available for $15.
