VCF and VDH announce second round of health equity grants

Vermont Business Magazine The Vermont Community Foundation and the Vermont Department of Health have announced that Track Two, the second round of the recently announced Health Equity grant program, is now open.

The Health Equity grant program is for community-based organizations that are working to address health disparities in Vermont. Track Two is designed primarily for organizations building internal capacity. Organizations applying for Track Two can request different kinds of technical assistance that will strengthen their organization and/or communities.

The first deadline for Track Two is 11:59 p.m. ET on July 8, 2022. Additional applications will be accepted on a rolling basis through August 31, 2022, as available funding permits. We encourage organizations to apply by July 8, 2022.

Helpful information, including how to apply and how to sign up for a virtual Question and Answer session on June 15th, 2022, is located at vermontcf.org/health-equity.

If you have programmatic questions, or if you request accommodations to fill out the application and/or translation into another language, please contact Al Belluche at [email protected] or 802-388-3355 ext. 247.

The Vermont Community Foundation inspires giving and brings people and resources together to make a difference in Vermont. A family of hundreds of funds and foundations, we provide the advice, investment vehicles, and back-office expertise that make it easy for the people who care about Vermont to find and fund the causes they love.

The heart of the Community Foundation’s work is closing the opportunity gap—the divide that leaves too many Vermonters struggling to get ahead, no matter how hard they work. We are aligning our time, energy, and discretionary resources on efforts that provide access to early care and learning, pathways to college and career training, support for youth and families, and community and economic vitality. We envision Vermont at its best—where everyone has the opportunity to build a bright, secure future. Visit vermontcf.org or call 802-388-3355 for more information.
