IRS Multilingual Event Jan 26
The IRS is hosting a virtual meeting at 10 a.m. Jan. 26 to better serve and assist multilingual communities. The IRS wants to establish, foster and build relationships with diverse communities via a variety of focused interactions and communications.
One goal of this meeting is to let the public know about the resources the IRS has for people who do not speak English as their primary language.
The goal is to discuss relevant tax administration policies, programs, and procedures on issues related to multilingual communities.

EMBRACE Grant for Vermont Microbusiness
In response to COVID-19, the Vermont Community Action Partnership and the Micro Business Development Program established the Economic Micro Business Recovery Assistance for the COVID-19 Epidemic direct grant program.
EMBRACE issues $5,000 grants to businesses with five or fewer employees.
Grants will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
