Durkee named New England president of Community Bank, NA

Vermont Business Magazine Community Bank System, Inc (NYSE: CBU) announced today the appointment of Matthew K Durkee as Senior Vice President and New England President of Community Bank, NA. Durkee will join Community Bank, NA’s team in Vermont and will be based at its New England headquarters located in Williston.

Durkee is a graduate of Green Mountain College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Prior to joining Community Bank, NA, he served as Executive Vice President and New England President for NBT Bank, NA from 2009 to 2020. Durkee has previously served as chairman of the Vermont Bankers Association.
