Fletcher Free Library hosts free vaccine clinic on Tuesday

Vermont Business Magazine Getting vaccinated has cool perks at the Fletcher Free Library on Tuesday, August 23 from 1-5 p.m. The first 40 participants will receive a coupon for a free creemee courtesy of the Burlington Bay Market & Café. This free walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be held in the Main Reading Room located in the Fletcher Free Library at 235 College St. in Burlington.

No insurance or ID will be required. Anyone who is eligible can be vaccinated, anyone under age 18 will need consent from their legal guardian.

Available vaccines include The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 through 11, Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for people ages 12 and older, and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for people ages 18 and older. First and second boosters will be offered in addition to first and second doses. Vaccine cards are helpful, but accommodations can be made if needed.

According to the Vermont Department of Health, the best way to protect yourself and others against the worst effects of COVID-19, including serious illness and death, is to get vaccinated and stay up to date on vaccines even if your risk is low or you've already had COVID-19.
