Vermont Business Magazine Claire Cummings is stepping down after a year as Executive Director of the Vermont Democratic Party. Her departure is effective as of today, April 19, 2022.
Vermont Democratic Party Chair Anne Lezak said in a statement:

"The Vermont Democratic Party is strong and energized a year after Claire Cummings took on the role of Executive Director. Her hard work, acumen, and enthusiasm have contributed to advancing the values and goals of the Party.
"We wish Claire the best in her future endeavors and thank her for all she’s done to ensure the Vermont Democratic Party is ready for one of the most exciting campaign seasons Vermont has seen in decades."
