Vermont Business Magazine Main Street Alliance of Vermont announced today the launch of their new survey to assess the needs of Vermont small businesses.
As part of a national initiative introduced by President Biden and Vice President Harris, Main Street Alliance of Vermont (MSAVT) and the Vermont Professionals of Color Network (VT PoC) are thrilled to partner with Vermont Small Business Development Center (VtSBDC) as they begin to engage in the Small Business Administration’s Community Navigator Pilot Program.
In service of this program, Main Street Alliance of Vermont and the Vermont Professionals of Color Network are working together as “outreach spokes” and will connect with small business owners across the state to collect both qualitative and quantitative data on Vermont’s small business landscape.
Morgan Nichols, the New England Regional Manager of Main Street Alliance said: "Main Street Alliance of Vermont is thrilled to participate in the Community Navigator Pilot Program as an 'Outreach Spoke'.
"Over the next eight months, we will work together with the Vermont Professionals of Color to create opportunities to connect with small businesses throughout the state and take time to listen deeply. We want to understand what is working well and identify the gaps that exist so that we can level the playing field and create a more equitable small business economy here in Vermont"
