Northeast Correctional Complex on lockdown after COVID-19 detected in general population
Vermont Business Magazine Northeast Correctional Complex (NECC) in St. Johnsbury is on full lockdown after seven incarcerated individuals in general population tested positive for COVID-19.
The entire facility will be tested on Tuesday and Friday.
As of Monday, a total of seven staff members and seven incarcerated individuals statewide are positive for the virus. Five of Vermont’s correctional facilities and one field office have positive staff cases. All positive incarcerated cases are at NECC.
