More opportunities to get vaccinated this Memorial Day weekend!
If you haven’t been vaccinated yet, mark the unofficial start of summer this weekend by getting your shot!
There are plenty of walk-in opportunities throughout the weekend, including at some special events. On Saturday, you can get vaccinated at the Burlington Farmers Market. The clinic will offer the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine for anyone 18 and older from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 345 Pine St.
Thunder Road is also hosting a walk-up COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Sunday as part of the Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be available in the main parking lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 61 Fisher Road in Barre.
There will also be opportunities at the Orleans County Fair’s truck pull on Saturday or the concert on Sunday. Get more info and find a clinic near you for a fast and easy vaccine shot at healthvermont.gov/MyVaccine!
Remember, being fully vaccinated means returning to the activities you looked forward to before the pandemic – getting together with friends and family, having a cookout, going to a farmers market, traveling, and more. We can enjoy these activities safely once again. Learn more from the CDC about When You’ve Been Fully Vaccinated.
