Vaccine age band registration continues as SVO grant set to begin

Vermont Business Magazine COVID-19 vaccination windows continue to open on schedule with the 60+ now open and the 50+ registration window set to open Monday, March 29th. The remaining age bands will become eligible for registration over the next three weeks, with the last of them, 16 and older, beginning April 19. Also, the US Small Business Administration (SBA) plans to open applications for the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant program (SVOG) on April 8th. Also on Sunday, the Vermont Department of Health is reporting another elevated number of new cases with 194 and one more death for 225 statewide.

Vaccine Age Band Registration Continues

COVID-19 vaccination windows continue to open on schedule with the 60+ now open and the 50+ registration window set to open Monday, March 29th. The remaining age bands will become eligible for registration on the following timeline:

Age Registration Starts
40+ April 5
30+ April 12
16+ April 19

Sole Proprietor Stabilization Grant Program

A second round of sole proprietors grants from the VT Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) was recently announced. This additional funding will offer grants of between $1,500 and $10,000 to qualifying Sole Proprietors on a first come, first served basis. The application for this new round of funding will open on Monday April 5th. A webinar to explain the online application process will be available on Thursday, April 1st at 4:00pm.

Shuttered Venue Operators Grant Application Opens on April 8th

Reminder that the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) plans to open applications for the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant program (SVOG) on April 8th. Visit the SVOG application portal for the latest information, FAQs, and application information to stay up to date on this program.

Restaurant Revitalization Webinar

The American Rescue Plan Act includes a carve out of $29 billion for the restaurant industry referred to as the Restaurant Revitalization Fund.
