Vermont Business Magazine The Small Business Administration is still accepting applications for the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant.
Eligible applicants may qualify for grants equal to 45% of their gross earned revenue, with the maximum amount available for a single grant award of $10 million. Eligible entities may be live venues, promoters, theatrical producers, live performing arts organizations, museums, movie theaters, and talent representatives.

2021 National SBIR Week Jul 19-23
The Small Business Administration is hosting the 2021 National SBIR Week from July 19 to 23. The virtual event will connect entrepreneurs working on advanced technology to the country’s largest source of early-stage funding – the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs.
Also known as America’s Seed Fund, the SBIR/STTR programs provide more than $4 billion in funding to small businesses each year in a wide variety of technology areas.
The 2021 National SBIR Week will provide attendees with an opportunity to hear directly from the participating federal agency program managers that administer over 7,000 new awards annually and to meet virtually one-on-one with program decision makers.
