Healthy Living Market donates sign to Detail Works

Program by Spectrum Youth and Family Services provides opportunities for youth skill development

Vermont Business Magazine Healthy Living Market and Café has partnered with Spectrum Youth and Family Services to provide a new sign for its service center, Detail Works. A Spectrum enterprise doubling as an automotive detailer, Detail Works was created to help young adults build the soft skills needed to thrive in a workplace environment.

Spectrum Youth and Family Services, based out of Burlington and S. Albans, aids young adults and their families with services that make and sustain positive changes. Detail Works’ main focus is giving their employees as many chances as needed to succeed — and gives the space for young people to practice the important job skills of attention, communication and accountability.

“It is our pleasure to donate this sign to Detail Works,” says Healthy Living Market and Café CEO Eli Lesser-Goldsmith. “The services led by Spectrum Youth and Family Services, like Detail Works, are critical for a healthy community. We know that a healthy community goes beyond just the food that we eat, and at Healthy Living, we are always on the lookout for opportunities to help our neighbors to thrive. With this sign, we hope to bring more visibility to the service center and Spectrum’s role in the Chittenden County area. We love bringing our Market’s vehicles to the incredible team at Detail Works, they do great work both with their employees and our fleet! We are also proud to feature Spectrum as our current Together We Can Help round-up recipient.”

“When Healthy Living offered to donate a sign to Detail Works we were ecstatic,” says Detail Works General Manager Galen Blodget, “it has brought in business, customers can find us easier and most importantly it’s brought in new cars for our youth to detail. We’re proud of our shop and we’re wicked proud of our new sign. I can’t thank Healthy Living enough.”

“We are so grateful to our friends at Healthy Living for providing a sign for Detail Works, our social enterprise in Williston for the young people of Spectrum Youth & Family Services,” said Mark Redmond, executive director at Spectrum Youth and Family Services. “There is no mistaking where we are located and business has been busier than ever! Thank you Healthy Living!”
