Senator Leahy back home after hospital stay

Vermont Business Magazine Statement Of David Carle, Spokesperson For Senator Patrick Leahy, 8:40 pm January 26, 2021: The Capitol Physician suggested that Senator Leahy go to George Washington University Hospital this evening for observation, out of an abundance of caution. After getting test results back, and after a thorough examination, Senator Leahy now is home. He looks forward to getting back to work. David Carle, spokesman for Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vermont), issued this statement 5:52 pm Tuesday: "This evening, Senator Leahy was in his Capitol office and was not feeling well. He was examined in the Capitol by the Attending Physician. Out of an abundance of caution, the Attending Physician recommended that he be taken to a local hospital for observation, where he is now, and where he is being evaluated."
