LoveYourBrain announces 5th annual MindfulMarch Meditation Challenge

Vermont Business Magazine The LoveYourBrain Foundation, the leading nonprofit organization supporting people affected by traumatic brain injury (TBI) through mindfulness, yoga, and education, will host a worldwide MindfulMarch Meditation Challenge taking place during Brain Injury Awareness month.

Each March, LoveYourBrain hosts a month-long Meditation Challenge - MindfulMarch - to raise awareness about brain injury and LoveYourBrain’s programs for people affected by TBI (including concussion). Meditation offers benefits for brain injury healing, and can help anyone reduce stress and increase resilience. Meditations will be led by teachers at the forefront of social justice and TBI healing - including Michelle Cassandra Johnson, Megan Cauley, Damithia Nieves, and Steph Winsor.

Participants will receive a meditation by email each day and weekly newsletters with additional bonus content to support a mindfulness practice.

The funds raised during MindfulMarch support LoveYourBrain’s programs by keeping them free and accessible for people to attend. MindfulMarch is sponsored by the Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation, Traction on Demand, and B Yoga. Sign up for the Challenge online at: https://give.classy.org/mindfulmarch21

About LoveYourBrain
The LoveYourBrain Foundation is a national non-profit that improves the quality of life of people impacted by traumatic brain injury (TBI) and raises awareness about the importance of brain health. TBI is caused by an external blow to the head, resulting in disrupted brain function that can range from mild (concussion) to severe. TBI affects more than 3 million people annually in the US and Canada, and is a leading cause of death and disability worldwide. Guided by their family’s experience, brothers Kevin and Adam Pearce established LoveYourBrain in 2014 following Kevin’s severe TBI from a snowboarding accident prior to the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. Kevin’s remarkable resilience was documented and transformed into the award-winning HBO Documentary, “The Crash Reel,” which brought to light the experience and prevalence of TBI. In response, LoveYourBrain developed programs and resources designed to create community and foster resilience, which are offered worldwide. In addition, LoveYourBrain provides free online resources such as guided meditations, yoga classes, brain tips and a community blog. Visit http://www.loveyourbrain.com to learn more.
