Vermont Business Magazine The fourth event in the series will focus on Vermonters who are direct-enrolled with their insurance company and how they might be able to save thousands of dollars by transferring their health plan to Vermont Health Connect. We’ll spotlight the August 31 deadline for a September start date (and immediate savings).

Who: Representatives from the Department of Vermont Health Access, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont, and MVP® Health Care.

- Recordings of the first three Town Halls can be found in the Vermont Communications Toolkit for the American Rescue Plan.
- Mark the calendar: The fifth Health Insurance Town Hall will be September 15 at 12pm. It will focus on Vermonters who have been receiving free COBRA thanks to the American Rescue Plan. The COBRA subsidy ends on September 30. These Vermonters might be able to save money by cancelling their COBRA and signing up for a Blue Cross or MVP health plan through Vermont Health Connect.
