Vermont Business Magazine Today, May 28th, The Boston Celtics, on behalf of the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation, and Vistaprint worked with Healthy Living Market & Cafe of South Burlington, VT, whose co-owner Eli Lesser-Goldsmith is a Celtics season-ticket holder, to provide meals to over 50 daycare workers in Vermont as part of the ‘Food for Heroes’ campaign.
The meals were distributed to staff members at Kid Logic Learning in South Burlington, Adventures in Early Learning in Shelburne, Adventures in Learning Childcare Center in Colchester and Carolyn’s Red Balloon in Colchester.
The Celtics and Vistaprint purchased meals from Healthy Living Market & Cafe, which prepared and delivered the food to the aforementioned daycare facilities that have provided childcare for essential workers.
This marks the seventh segment of the 9-week program, aimed at supporting local restaurants while also providing meals to a wide range of frontline workers and those most heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic throughout New England.
