Dear NSB Customer,
We came into this year stronger than ever as Vermont's largest independent bank. We have the resources to weather difficult times with you and for you. We will continue to operate through thick and thin, as we have for 153 years of American and Vermont history.
After carefully monitoring the rapid evolution of the novel coronavirus in past weeks and preparing for contingencies, we are taking immediate actions to protect you, our staff, and our communities from greater risk of COVID-19.
Beginning Wednesday, March 18, we are changing our branch lobby hours. We will be offering interior branch access to customers during three separate 90-minute intervals each day Monday through Friday.
Interval 1: 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Interval 2: Noon - 1:30 p.m.
Interval 3: 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
This will allow us to serve your branch needs during shifts that correspond historically with our more utilized lobby traffic times during the day.
In the breaks between intervals, our branch teams will be attending to facility cleaning protocols, following up on customer care, supporting other NSB delivery channels, and staffing expanded drive-up hours.
Our branch drive-up hours will be 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
In addition, we have ATMs at all NSB locations, as well as Burlington International Airport.
We have built a robust online and mobile banking platform and have a variety of other convenient services that do not require coming into our branch offices. These services are featured at nsbvt.com.
We are taking a series of other steps to battle this health crisis, including establishing remote work capabilities for some staff, applying travel restrictions, strictly observing workplace health protocols, and reviewing situations where the sudden turn in economic activity is placing stress on borrowers.
