ACCD: St Johnsbury job fair, PPP virtual town hall, restaurant restart Webinar

Agency of Commerce & Community Development The Department of Economic Development will host a virtual town hall on Friday, June 5th at 2:00 pm to share updates about the Paycheck Protection Program. Funds are still available for businesses to access. Representatives from the SBA and local banks and credit unions will be available to answer questions.

Virtual Job Fair in St. Johnsbury

The Department of Labor has begun a series of virtual job fairs at communities around the state. The first one will be Thursday, June 4th at 11:00am and focuses on job openings in St. Johnsbury.

Restaurant Restart Free Webinar

SCORE Vermont will be offering a free webinar for restaurants on Tuesday, June 9th at 10:00am. “Restaurant Survival Strategies Post-COVID" will provide guidance on complying with health and safety requirements and financial models for future breakeven sales level and customer counts.

Restart Plan Templates Available

A reminder that restart plan templates are now available for construction; golf courses; gyms and fitness centers; manufacturing, distribution and warehousing; real estate sales and leasing; restaurants; and retail establishments. These plans can help businesses establish best practices as they reopen and train employees on safety precautions and protocols.
