State Police investigate a death in Clarendon

Vermont State Police The Vermont State Police are investigating a death in the Town of Clarendon. A middle aged male was located deceased under the US RT 7 bridge near the intersection of RT 7B. The male has not yet been positively identified, however police believe they know his identity. The descendant was apparently homeless and was living under the bridge for a prolonged period of time.

The Vermont State Police received a call from a passerby on US RT 7 on February 11th 2020 at approximately 2335 hours. The passerby was flagged down on US RT 7 and learned about the discovery of a body under the bridge.

Vermont State Police Investigators along with an Assistant Medical Examiner responded to the scene. The body was transported to the Chief Medical Examiner's Office in Burlington for an autopsy to determine cause and manner of death. The death is not considered suspicious.
