Vermont Business Magazine Vermont Real Estate Company is proud to announce $33 million in sales over 130 transactions in 2019. Since its founding in 2016 by principal brokers Bryce Gilmer and Kara Koptiuch, Burlington-based Vermont Real Estate Company has done over $60 million in home sales.
Owners Bryce Gilmer and Kara Koptiuch intentionally spent the first year in business as partners to ensure proper establishment of the company and intentional, sustainable growth. The firm grew from two to 12 agents, doubling the agent roster last year.

The home office is located in the Maltex Building at 431 Pine Street in Burlington, Vermont. Initially focused on Chittenden County, coverage has expanded into Central Vermont. This geographic growth has driven the need for another location to serve as a home base for the firm’s Central Vermont agents and provide additional client resources in that part of the State. Vermont Real Estate Company is excited to have secured a location for its second office and will open its doors at the end of February 2020.
With the expansion of the team, Vermont Real Estate Company is forecasting $100 million in real estate sales in 2020.
