530-acre Marlboro College campus listed for sale

Vermont Business Magazine Leading global commercial real estate services and investment management firm Colliers International Group Inc, in collaboration with V/T Commercial, announces it has been selected to market and secure the sale of the Marlboro College campus. Located in southern Vermont, just 10 miles from the vibrant town of Brattleboro, the historic college is fit to be repurposed or for use as-is and is available for immediate occupancy.

Composed of 58 buildings and more than 210,000 square feet of facilities on 530 acres, the charming campus is made up of dormitories, classrooms and lecture halls, administrative offices, a student center, dining halls, recreation and athletic facilities, a library, an auditorium and much more. The property also features 17 miles of on-campus trails and the nearby Green Mountain National Forest, offers outdoor recreational activities, including hiking, mountain biking and kayaking. Additionally, the campus is host to the annual Marlboro Music Festival -- one of the world’s foremost classical music events -- which will continue moving forward.

The town boasts a vibrant arts and entertainment community that rivals any big city and a downtown packed with eateries, coffee shops, galleries, music venues, bookstores and performance spaces.

The campus is available for immediate occupancy. Marlboro College is being absorbed by Emerson College in Boston and is closing its Vermont campus.
