Medical Center, UVM partner to arrange parking for employees on site

Vermont Business Magazine Beginning Monday, all University of Vermont Medical Center staff who typically park at satellite lots are able to park on site. Through a partnership with the University of Vermont, employees who had been parking at the Catamount East and Doubletree lots will now be parking on the UVM campus. Employees are being notified today of the change.

“Our teams are working hard during this challenging time to care for our neighbors, and this is an important way to help protect them,” said Stephen Leffler, MD, president and chief operating officer of the UVM Medical Center. “We thank UVM for working with us to provide this parking to our employees.”

The new parking locations do require a short walk to the main campus of the hospital, and there will continue to be a small shuttle bus available for those who would prefer not to walk or are unable to walk.
