Vermont Technology Alliance invites public voting for Tech Jam awards

Vermont Business Magazine The Vermont Technology Alliance is welcoming the public to vote to select the winners of the 2019 Vermont Tech Jam Awards.  Each year the Vermont Technology Alliance, a business association representing Vermont’s tech business sector, presents the Tech Jam Awards to draw attention to some of the state’s leading tech businesses and entrepreneurs.

Public nominations have been submitted and a team of judges have selected the finalists. Now it is up to the public to select who will win the 2019 “Jammies”

Public voting on Tech Jam Award finalists is open through October 14, 2019 and can be cast at: https://www.vermonttechnologyalliance.org/surveys/?id=TJA_voting_2019

Tech Business of the Year Award

This award recognizes a tech-focused or tech-enabled Vermont business or organization whose products, services or business demonstrates innovation, success, market impact or momentum.

Emerging Tech Business Award

This award recognizes a tech-focused Vermont business that is gaining attention and recognition for its progress, success, market potential and growth. This could be a start-up or newer business, or an established business that is moving to the next level.

- Reconciled

- Step Ahead innovations

- Widget Brain

Tech Champion Award

This award recognizes an individual making a mark in the growth of Vermont’s tech ecosystem. This could be an entrepreneur instrumental in the success and development of a Vermont technology-focused business, or individuals in business, academia, non-profits or government whose work supports, promotes and enables the awareness and growth of Vermont’s tech economy and ecosystem.

- Doug Webster - Champlain Maker Faire

The winners will be announced at the Vermont Tech Jam event on Thursday, October 17 at the Champlain Valley Expo.
