Vermont Business Magazine Strolling of the Heifers will host three Holiday Pop-Up Gift Shop events in the River Garden (157 Main Street) in Brattleboro this November and December. Products from over 40 local artisans will be available for purchase at each pop-up. All events are free and open to the public. The first pop-up begins on “Black Friday”, the Friday following Thanksgiving.
Holiday Pop-Up Gift Shops at the River Garden:
Friday, November 29, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. & Saturday, November 30, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Friday, December 13, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. & Saturday, December 14, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Friday, December 20, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. & Saturday, December 21, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
“Everyone is welcome to come to the River Garden for a magical shopping experience inspired by European holiday markets,” said Orly Munzing, Executive Director of Strolling of the Heifers, “We have so many talented and creative entrepreneurs in this region, and these three weekends the River Garden will be bustling with over 40 amazing vendors to shop from. There will be something for everyone on your list.”
“Our Pop-Up Gift Shops are so much fun,” said Vicki Friedman, one of the Pop-Up’s organizers, “we are so excited to be hosting three this year, with a great variety of products, and different vendors each weekend.” She added, “It’s a great way to shop - you can talk to the person who made the product and get a sense of where it came from. It just feels good to support these local businesses.”
