Cooperative companies join forces to promote solar to Energy Co-op members
Vermont Business Magazine The Energy Co-op of Vermont of Colchester and Catamount Solar of Randolph, two companies organized under cooperative principles, have announced a partnership to promote solar installations for Energy Co-op members. Energy Co-op is a fuel dealer. The agreement includes a range of co-marketing and promotion programs and a discount of up to $1,000 on new residential solar installations for Energy Co-op members.
We are very excited to join forces with Catamount Solar in this collaboration to offer solar installations to our members,” said Brian Gray, General Manager of the Energy Co-op. “A recent survey of Energy Co-op members indicated a very high interest in learning more about solar options. Since both of our companies are organized under cooperative principles, expanding our menu of services to partner with Catamount Solar’s residential solar installation is a natural fit.”
Andrew Wible of Catamount Solar said: “The Energy Co-op wanted to offer home solar installation to their members, but they didn’t have the expertise in-house. It made perfect sense for them to team up with us to provide solar services, co-op to co-op. We both believe in the importance of supporting our community and working together towards a healthy environment.”
