Vermont National Guard Aviation returns from year-long overseas deployment

Vermont National Guard Members of the Vermont National Guard’s Charlie Company 3-126 recently returned to the United States from the CENTCOM area of operations. Soldiers with Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 126th Aviation Regiment deployed in May 2018 and will be returning home after completing the demobilization process.

“We are happy to have our Soldiers home and are immensely proud of the work they did while deployed,” said Brig. Gen. Gregory Knight, the adjutant general, Vermont National Guard. “They represent the best Vermont has to offer and exemplified that through their performance overseas.”

A welcome home ceremony is planned once all unit members have returned home.

As more information becomes available, we will keep our community partners and media informed, as we continue to take care of our Soldiers at their redeployment location.
